John began his career at Howies in 1994 as a general operative, he has worked his way up through the ranks and in 2007 was promoted to Primary Production Manager. John has seen the installation of two new sawmills including our latest Linck line & thrives on the technology this brings.

When not at work you will find John on a golf course improving his ever reducing single figure handicap.
